Laura Maria was born
on the 29th of January, 1987 in Berlin, Germany.
She moved with her parents onto the island of Majorca (Spain) at the age of
6 months. She grew up there in a country house near the village Artą, and went to a Majorcan school.
She knew already in her childhood that she wanted to make her passion
professional: To play and sing on stage. So she started at the age of 12
years to learn singing with the help of a teacher, kept playing on
local stages and took dance lessons.
She became singer of the Majorcan youth-band "40 Llamps" when she was 14
years old. With this group she acted successfully during 2 years at many
places of the island on public celebrations, TV-shows, radio and theatre.
When Laura was 17
years old she left Majorca to get her 3-year professional formation at
Stage School for Professional Artists, Germany, in the areas of song, dance and drama.
She completed successfully in July 2007.
Then she moved back to Majorca in December 2007.
In February 2008 she started to be singer of the Majorcan
verbena-band "Soubastos".
She started a traineeship and cooperation as a (Catalan) speaker at radio Artą in April
2008.
